Heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant enamel KO-870 is designed to protect:

products and neopatrimonial phosphated steel (equipment, internal parts of automobiles),

metal and porous construction surfaces (concrete, reinforced concrete, asbestos cement, brick and other surfaces), operating in harsh atmospheric conditions.

Due to weathering, water, gasoline and temperature resistance of the enamel can be applied in high humidity conditions and corrosive environments (industrial oils and petroleum products) and exposed to temperature changes from -60°C to 700°C.

Wide range of colors heat-resistant enamel KO-870 also provides the ability to apply it as a protective and decorative finishing of surfaces. Available in the following colors: black, white, grey, silver grey, red, red-brown, grey, blue, yellow, green.

According to the results of climatic tests, OAO NII LKP with OMZ "Victoria" warranty period of coverage heat-resistant enamel KO-870 in an open industrial atmosphere of moderate and cold climate is not less than 10 years.

Material approved and recommended by industry specialized testing Institute JSC VNIIZHT and included in the regulatory documents governing the activities of the railway industry.

Enamel on metal CO-870 has a certificate of conformity and state registration, meets all the requirements of modern paint materials.

Apply the enamel KO-870 dry and clean and degreased surface at ambient temperature from -300C to +400C and relative humidity above 80%. This treatment gives the required heat resistance and adhesion.

Degreasing is carried out using rags soaked in aromatic solvent (solvent, xylene, acetone or other).

Despite the fact that the enamel is already available ready to use, if necessary, it can be diluted to a viscosity of 15-16 seconds with solvent or xylene at a temperature of 20 ° C followed by filtration through a sieve with a mesh 01N-0.2 N according to GOST 6613-86.

Before application the enamel should be thoroughly mixed until complete dissolution of the precipitate and then applied to the surface by roller, brush or by means of pneumatic or electrostatic spraying.

The surface is painted in 2 layers "wet on wet" with intermediate aging for 5-7 min. at 20ºc. The second enamel layer is dried at a temperature of 130 º C for 30 min in a drying Cabinet or at a temperature of 20 ° C for 4 h.

It is recommended that the thickness of the dried coating was at least 22-32 µm.
